Tomorrow is my Dad’s Yahrzeit. It will be the 7th anniversary of his death according to the Hebrew calendar (he passed away on 12 July 2003). Our custom is to say Kaddish, the Mourner’s Prayer, in his memory on the day and, thankfully, my brother is in Johannesburg for a visit so I am heading to shul with him this evening to say Kaddish.
