theSQL at 26 weeks ... and growing
We had our 26 week scan this morning and, as you can see from the video and photo below, this baby is growing nicely. We are seeing some really great detail with our doctor’s new machine. It is almost as good as the 3D/4D scan (next weekend). She weighs about 1kg at this point and no-one seems to think this baby will only arrive in January.

Old ladies and Google Maps
I have just taken a walk to a nearby shopping mall and was stopped by two old ladies on the side of the road. They were lost and looking for an address nearby.
I had an epiphany and whipped out my phone and looked the address up on Google Maps. I called up directions from where I was standing and directed them to their destination using Google’s directions. Hope they are accurate!

School girls scare me
My office is opposite a girls only high school. Every morning I see girls arriving at school, making one heck of a noise (I don’t think these models came with volume controls) and making a nuisance of themselves. I’ve noticed that girls have been arriving at the school later and later and the headmistress must have had enough. She started locking the gate at about 8am and leaving...

This is not balance
I really need to restructure my working hours. This is the 3rd weekend I have had to work to try keep up with my workload and the 3rd weekend in a row I haven’t been able to spend some quality time with my family. I have a huge amount of work to do each week between my usual workload and the Internet and the Law course I am involved in. The course, alone, takes roughly a day’s work...
