Still infatuated with Tumblr
Even though I am leaning more in favour of using Google+ for my micro-blogging (and even my not-so-micro-blogging), Tumblr is far better looking and is far more visually appealing. I want to want to blog here a lot more, blog here primarily!

My not so great Tumblr versus Google+ debate
Never mind the Google+ vs Facebook vs Twitter debate, there are pretty strong similarities between Google+ and Tumblr and Posterous. I used to use Posterous and Tumblr depending on my mood and closed down my Posterous site when I realised I didn’t really have a need for it given my preference for Tumblr anyway. Besides, I have a long standing WordPress blog which seems to keep ticking along...

parislemon:
Ever since I bought the original iPhone in 2007, there’s been one app above all others that I’ve been sorely missing: Gmail. Of course, back then, there were no native third-party apps. But a year later, when those came, Gmail was still nowhere to be found.
At first, the talk was that Apple wasn’t going to allow another mail app on their device. Then it was that Google was simply...

– This one is more than a little geeky. Mark Strong’s Sinestro character said this when he first encountered Hal Jordan in a training duel on Oa in the recent Green Lantern movie. Although this movie wasn’t exactly the best superhero movie I’ve seen, the fear-courage theme is pretty...

Pretty interesting article about the significance of women’s diminishing pubic hair. Unusual item in my Twitter stream, for sure, but worth reading.

Me: No, your school is a play school and next year you will go to a nursery school.
My son: No Daddy, my school is a working school and my friends work with me.

Apple's "Fall From Grace" →
parislemon:
This is, quite simply, one of the worst pieces I’ve ever read on Apple.
Zach Epstein starts off trashing Apple’s iPhone 4S announcement as perhaps “the beginning of the end” — and does so citing a bunch of analysts.
Analysts.
As anyone who watches Apple closely knows, analysts are absolutely fucktarded when it comes to Apple. If you bet directly against what they’ve said about...

Additional requirements for Acceptance Testing of non-Paper Deliverables
– A catchy heading title in an agreement I am slogging through. Companies that have agreements like this should pass out Panado with each draft for review.
